Your gecko information was totally untrue, most of the pictures you had showing where of crested geckos, not house geckos. They also CANNOT be kept together wether female or male, they’ll drop their tails. They also are totally hands on pets? Maybe not house geckos but leopard geckos you can for sure hold and play with.

I have gerbils and they shouldnt be around little kids they like to run and explore and require a lot of care and space if your thinking about getting gerbils remember they and smart creaters and will escape if they can suprisingly ive acifentally left the cage open (this was once) and they both stayed in the cage so i assume that means they like it. But all the info you said was correct and i like how you state the basics so when people decide what animal they want they can go do more reaserch. It gives people a better understanding of the pet.

I’ve done some research on keeping ferrets, and other ferret keepers have said that it isn’t good to keep them in a cage for long periods of time.

So out of curiosity, what makes you take this pro-cage approach? (I do want to hear your thoughts on the subject)

I’ve been trying to find a pet that I want and honestly I don’t want a dog because it will remind me of my dog that my mom gave away to her ex bf because they “bonded” although I’ve known her for 10 years and he’s had her for 4 years

But I can’t get a cat.. because my dad’s allergic and my mom hates them any suggestions (has to be small, cheap and cuddly.. lol mom says no to rats, snakes, hamsters, mice, I’m afraid of spiders n insects
