I had a Chinchilla for 21 years, named Chico. He was the best pet I ever owned.

A lot of the cages in the footage here are quite problematic... I worry for their welfare.

Sugar gliders bark and crab and are very difficult animals to keep. They require a very specific diet that has a specific calcium to phosphorus ratio. High protein can cause them to smell really bad.

I used to have a mouse, he would always find a way to escape from the cage and would climb onto my bed and sit right in front of my face and watch me sleep…he never used the restroom on my bed either👌

fancy rats are ALL pet rats. Also, ferrets are from my experience extremely complex, hen bunnies, ferrets, and guinea pigs each require about square 8 feet of space.

Rats are adorable

But if you want one you must know that at some point in their life, they will need to go to the vet. Females are prown to tumurs and males are prown to seizures.

Male rats are usually more relaxed are and more likely to cuddle with you, females are usually more energetic.

Do you research :)

All of these seem adorable! I have had mice, rats, hamsters and Guinea Pigs. Rats really do make wonderful, sweet and intelligent pets. The only problem with rats is that they have such short lifespans.

We actually have three fancy rats! They are so cute and just roam the house. They are very clean and will cuddle with us every day.

If you get a gerbil, don’t get chinchilla DUST. any type of dust can cause respiratory problems and can be lethal. You have to get them chinchilla SAND. Sand is perfectly safe and gerbils do enjoy it. I have two gerbils and they love the sand. warning, they can get messy 😂
