Extraterrestrial was a great ride. Sometimes I don't understand. Just don't take small kids on it.

I remember this I cried so hard. I had to sit away from my parents for some reason. I thought I was going to die.

Edit: Lol sit in there when your 5 years old and not get scared. And the folks saying read the signs I just learned the ABCs at that age let alone read. I am in my 30s and still remember it. Not scared of stuff like that now.

When I went to Disney in the first grade my parents wouldn't let me ride stitch's great escape because they heard other little kids got super scared and they didn't want me to associate my favorite movie with that or not want to play or sleep with my stitch anymore. Honestly a good call on their parts because I was a scaredy cat back then (and I still am now, anxiety is a harsh mistress) anyway I still love Lilo and stitch and I still sleep with stitch all these years later, but seeing the picture of the disassembled stitch animatronic after the ride closed was sad. They could have repurposed him for a different ride he was still good

When I was 6 my dad took me on Alien Encounter. It really did scar me so much so that when I looked up footage of it years later I could remember what exactly was gonna happen before it happened

I remember going on the extra terrorestrial with my little sister and it was her first time. While the monster was breathing on us I grabbed her leg to surprise her. She got so freaked out she peed herself. Afterwards she claimed something grabbed her while my parents bought her some fresh pants. I still chuckle about it as it was one of my best pranks ever.

For context about kids would get scared on the Stitch experience is that it was the same as the previous one with a different coat of paint.

The Actually scary one, ExtraTerrorestrial. Instead of blood of a worker being splattered on guests, it was supposed to be spit. And instead of a giant hungry alien flying around, it’s just stitch running around still creeping up on people and scaring them. No wonder it STILL scared kids.

Edit:Just found out That it’s gonna be reopening and I am really happy!!!!

I miss Stitch’s greatest escape. I’m glad I went on it before it closed.

I remember the alien version. I clawed my poor aunts arm because I was so scared. And she couldn’t get me to stop screaming. I’m still traumatized till this day

I didn’t think that people would get scarred or traumatized from the Stitch ride. Maybe it’s just me, but I really loved it and went on it several times by my own will 😂 never rly scared me too much!

🤣 I remember going on alien encounter at 6 years old! It was frightening and still remember it to this day. Although i didn't quite the context as I was crying because I thought the alien pee'd on me but my mum very kindly reminded me it was blood cos he had just killed the captain lol

Went to Disney when I was 5, only time I’ve been there. The only thing I remember from the whole trip is my parents making me go on the stitch ride because they thought it was gonna be kid friendly. All I remember is getting like sneezed by Erich or something and crying the whole time and freaking out.

I went on the alien ride when I went for Gradnight. I had two friends that were on acid and they did not tell me, so when the alien breathed on our necks they threw glow sticks at it and where freaked out for quite some time after...

Went to Disneyworld in the early 2000s with my mom, two friends, and the mom of one of those friends. My mom loves horror so she wanted to go on the alien ride. My two friends said they were brave and joined her. I was an honest coward and said, "Nope!" and waited outside with the other adult. I could hear the screams from outside the ride.
Afterwards one of my friends admitted it was a mistake to go one the ride. My other friend still tried to be tough, but it was obvious they were pretty shaken up.
We were all under 10 years old at the time.

“some people may argue a burp from stitch could be equally traumatizing” 😂😂😂😂

I remember going on that stitch ride on a field trip in elementary. I thought it was super fun and was confused about why it wasn't there anymore when I went back years later, but now I know why.
