I cannot imagine how tough these pioneers had to be in order to survive the west. An old friend once told me about his grandparents who travelled across the Canadian prairies with two horses pulling a flat bed wagon. They survived the first winter by turning the flat bed wagon upside down and using it as a roof. Dried peat moss was then used for the walls. Can you imagine living in that when the night temperatures dropped to - 30 degrees.

Taylor Sheridan hit a trifecta on Paramount, first with 'Yellowstone', then 'Mayor of Kingstown' which premiered Nov 14th 2020, then '1883' launched Dec 19th 2020, the man is a story telling, entertainment genius .. Wonder what he has planned for the up-in-coming '6666'
(which at this moment has no specific date release as of yet) ... Either way, and if history repeats itself, it will be an experience not to miss ..

Growing up, I heard stories about my great great great grandparents crossing the Smoky Mtns in a covered wagon. That took nearly 2 weeks. I can't imagine the Hell these folks went through!!!

"Wind River" is the best movie made in the last 10 years! It should have won best picture! It should be shown at grief counselling, because more than any Friend or Doctor "Wind River" helped me with the death of my daughter.

Billy Bob played Jim courtwright which was a sheriff in Fort Worth Texas back in the 1800’s and was a real life bad ass. True story
