1:30 This is a very important tipp :
i can remeber, that i lost almost every point on 2nd serve in winter of 2008.
almost everybody was attacking my 2nd serve for 3 or 4 months.
i even praticed a fast 2nd serve : and it did not help.
as i start to practice to go back after my serve, i fixed this problem in 3 or 4 days.
PS i also think, that this player should play backhand instead this inside out.

I love how you transition your videos to more strategies

I've been applying your lessons/techniques in VR First Person Tennis with Etsy racket adapter, I have the fuzzy yellow balls book and I can record the video of my playing to watch later (good idea thanks), practice against AI or use ball launcher, live players from around the world. No struggling to find players, book/pay for a court, chase balls around, weather, lol. The sim physics are quite realistic according to many real life players. I'm 53 and wish I would have played tennis much earlier as I'm one of the top players and many real players compliment my technique and approach. The only thing I'm struggling with is rib and ab pain, possible costochondritis from all the upper body rotation and my aggressive style. Maybe a video on that :) Thanks Ryan!

Can you compare the serve of Djokovic in 2011 with his serve in 2023?
He changed a lot : his toss is much lower and hand motion much faster.
He stated a lot of times, that Kyrgius has best serve.
it looks like, he tryed to adapt Kyrgius style

I saw E. Ymer yesterday only. Can you analyse Norrie's backhand shot? I think he does not take his racquet properly backward to hit it with more pace.

Hi Ryan, great content as always! Can you please analyse and compare Zverev's and Musetti's forehands like you did with Sinner vs Djokovic? I think their technique is quite similar, so I would love to see your take on that!

Great analysis as always… is that one of the Ymer brothers?

How close do you have to come to the net when you do an approach shot so you don't get lobbed Ryan?

what if your opponent is really close to the net and you can not send the ball to their feet? is the passing shot the best strategy there ?

Could he catch the lob if he had turned immediately sideways and move quickly back by cross and shuffle steps? Then he would make an overhead on forehand side. A second proposal: Would it be better if he had tried a short stop volley instead of a normal volley on 0.24 by letting the ball bounce?

Great analysis, except about the serve. A first serve at that speed, you don't have time - you do your split step (slightly backwards at most) immediately upon landing because that's when the opponent is hitting the ball. The DIFFERENCE between players is, some players launch themselves further into the court than others. This guy does put a lot of forward momentum on his 1st serve (like Andy Roddick) and puts himself further into the court.

If this was a kick serve, players would have time to back up.
