Zoom Video - Video as a Virtual background in meetings by Chris Menard

Zoom Video Conference: Zoom now allows you to have a video as your virtual background in your meetings. This is a great feature released in early 2020. You can still do an image background with or without a green screen. I'm not using a green screen in this video. Both videos I use as my background were preloaded when I started the Zoom meeting. You can also download videos to use as your virtual background. The video can be an mp4 or mov. The resolution needs to be 360p - 1080p.
I recommend if you do a lot of video meetings, you invest in a green screen.

Chris Menard, Thank you for your videos. They are so helpful. I now have beautiful virtual video backgrounds thanks to you and your website. I am using a Mac and so I had to "interpret" some of the directions, but eventually got things working well. Thanks again.

Chris I have the latest Zoom version but I have no option to add an mp4 for by backgrounds! I don't even have the pre loaded ones showing in my Zoom app. Any ideas? I run a Mac

My virtual background works fine but the problem is I can add image but no add video in the + sign. What is the problem then, Chris?

Hello Chris!
Thank you for these tutorials. I have a very different issue with Zoom.
My mac has an i5 core
I turned on the Virtual Background in my settings under: In a meeting advanced
signed out and back in a new browser.

The add video feature is not showing up in the drop-down, I am only given the option to add image have you ever heard of this problem before?
