2015 Sorento has no lower screws, but you have to loosen the bumper cover on each side. This is because the lamp assembly actually guides the bumper cover into place. There is only one screw on each side to loosen the bumper cover just inside the wheel well at 2 o’clock on passenger side, 10 o’clock on driver’s side. Then pull hard on the bumper cover. Very hard. Don’t worry, it all snaps back in place later. If you are unsure, don’t try it, but it worked perfectly for me… 30 minutes on each lamp assembly replacement. The reason I had to change out my lamp assembly was because the low beams became very, very dim from decaying foil reflectors inside. New assembly was the cure… very bright low beams now. Thanks for this video.

This guide is very detailed and easy to follow. However, I found that none of this was really necessary. I started to follow the guide and got the step about the back bolt when I realized I could easily access the lamp covers very easily with just my hands. Maybe it would be more difficult for someone with large hands. But I was able to remove the covers, and bulbs relatively easily. I had a little more trouble with the right bulb near the fuse box because it was a little more cramped. But I completed the whole job without removing the entire assembly as shown.

The title of the video should specifically say headlight ASSEMBLY. People just looking to replace the bulbs will be really confused. ALSO, it should be stated that these new assemblies are nothing like the factory OEM regarding the bulbs, so that may confuse people looking to just replace the bulbs. The low beam bulbs (on the outside edge of the assembly) do NOT have that hold down wire clip. They are H7 bulbs that push into the base and the base twists on into the assembly.

Asking again about the infamous lower bolt…SPECIFICALLY for the 2014 Kia Sorento…the new headlight assembly has no holes for a bolt or screw. Maybe the vehicle used is a 2011-2013 Sorento, honest mistake but at least make a comment. Plus does anyone from TRQ monitor and answer these feeds? No reason to subscribe or make positive comments…HELLO???

Great for the turn signal/parking light bulb. Unlike the headlights, I was entirely unable to replace this one on the far outside, small orange cover, without removing the unit as shown.

This method WILL NOT work on a 2014 Kia Sorento Limited built in Georgia. The bumper cover must be loosen on the side being replaced, top and bottom, and pulled out to get enough clearance to slide the light assembly out. Also, it only had the top 2 bolts - the bottom 3rd bolt was not present and no provision for it.

Working on my 2014 Kia Sorento headlight assembly but don’t see that last 10mm bolt on the bottom. There’s no hole or mount for the new assembly so I’m curious where is this bolt?

For a 2015 your have to remove the bumper. Be gentle the clips when pulling the bumper might break

when replacing the headlights I see online some look silver inside the low beam housing and some look dark. My 2014 LX has very dim lights and a bulb replacement didn't fix it and I'm hesitant to buy new headlights because I'm not sure which ones to get

WE'RE A LONG WAY FROM HEATING ONE OF THE THREE PRONGS ONE THE BACK OF THE OLD GLASS HEADLIGHT, WITH A SOLDERING IRON TO MAKE THE PRONG PLUG IN AND FIT...
THOSE DAYS ARE LONG SINCE GONE, JUST WISH I HAD HELD ON TO THAT 64 MALIBU ! AND ABOUT HALF A DOZEN OTHER CARS I LEFT GO, BUT I GUESS WE ALL FEEL LIKE THAT.UNLESS YOU STARTED DRIVING IN THE LAST FIVE TO TEN YEARS. I DRIVE BY THESE HIGH SCHOOLS AND SHAKE MY HEAD, YOU CANT TELL THE STUDENTS PARKING LOT FROM THE TEACHERS!! SURE WASNT THAT WAY BACK WHEN..I GOTTA GO, THERES A BUNCH OF KIDS OUT THERE ON MY LAWN.
