Instruction
1.Set the time
Pull the crown out to the farthest position from the watch base.
Gently turn the crown towards as clock hands should move clockwise until you set the correct time. If you overshoot your desired time, do not turn the crown counter-clockwise to go back. Turning the crown counter-clockwise can damage the watch’s mechanism.
Press the crown back into its “zero” position near the base of the watch.
2.Wind the mechanism
Turn the crown (usually from yourself) in standard position until you feel resistance (about 10 turns). Your watch is adequately wound once you feel this and over-winding it could cause damage. You should do that every day because mechanism has a power reserve about 24 hours. Sometimes turning the crown can be rather tight – it’s OK and it depends on the watch’s brand or model.

Actually there are no strict rules which say that firstly, you should set the time and secondly, wind the mechanism. You can do these steps in the reverse order.

How to check whether your watch is working:
-Look at the second hand – it should be going
-If your watch haven’t got a second hand - Bring the watch to your ear and you will hear sound like "tick tock". If you hear this sound - Congrats, your watch is working!
If you your watch doesn't start running - try to shake it (more than 1 time) - it's the extra way, which can often help watch's mechanism to wind.
Thank you for attention!
