Remember, a policeman can lie to you and there are no consequences. If you lie to a policeman, that is a crime. So there is no point in talking to a policeman for any good reason, and they are not your BFFs. Absolutely say that you will not make any comments at this time and you plead the fifth and you want your lawyer. You do not have to let a policeman in your house without a warrant and you don't even have to answer the door.
