With the strategic victory of the Romans and tactical victory of the Muslims at Yarmouk, Emperor Heraclius will not received the backlash against him about the marriage between him and his niece while Khalid's reputation as a military commander will still be intact. As the Roman government is reorganizing itself and consolidate its frontiers in the Balkans and Syria, the Rashidun Caliphate will shifted its focus to the expansion on the Swahili coasts instead. As a result, this might led to the earlier Islamization of Somali and down south all the way to Zanzibar while also dispatching missionaries and diplomats across the Indian Ocean to preach Islam and to gain favors from the local rulers when it comes to trade. And if that is the case, I can see Mogadishu become a new capital of the Rashidun Caliphate while Islam is being spread peacefully into the Indian subcontinent for the time being. And if these missions showed good results, it may embolden the Caliphate to dispatch missionaries into Syria and Iran for preaching peacefully while also negotiating with the Caesar and the Shah for the missions of spreading Islam peacefully in their realms as well. Obviously, nothing lasted forever. And that's including peace. The death of Shah Kavad II, son of Shah Khosrow II, died because of the Plague of Sheroe, thus sparking a civil war within Iranshahr, known to us as the Sassanian Empire. And seeing such an opportunity, the Muslims will not let this chance go. As for the Roman Empire, it is still working on stabilizing its frontiers and securing the territories in the Mediterranean like Sicily and Sardinia. So the Muslim Arabs will be the only group taking advantage of this civil war. However, Caliph Abu Bakr also have a decision to make as well. He can used this as an opportunity to convert Iran to Islam by assisting the seven-year-old Shah and his regent or taking advantage of the civil war and claim Iran through military conquest. Knowing that claiming Iran through conquest can be used later, the Caliph decided to dispatch an army to relieve Ctesiphon, which is being besieged by the troops made of an alliance by an army of General Shahbaraz's forces, the Nimruzi faction and the Parsig faction. With the aid of the Muslims, the siege is lifted and the rebels' army either dispersed or captured. Since the Caliph's only demands are the conversion to Islam and giving favorable trade deals, the young Shah and his regent accepted and convert to Islam. Their conversions sparked mixed reactions within their realm. Some such as the Zoroastrian priests do not like it while others just simply do not care what religion their rulers practiced. Regardless of the reactions, the conversion of Shah Ardashir III and his regent, Mah-Adhur Gushnasp, will encouraged some peoples within Iranshahr such as those who are at the bottom of the society to convert, resulting in them ended being persecuted, thus forcing them to leave for Mogadishu. And this worked in favor of the Caliphate because these immigrants brought with them knowledge from all fields of science within Iran.

As for something like the Fitna among the Muslims, I do not know how will this turned out. But I guess that if the relations between Iran and the Caliphate is good, the possibility of the descendants of Ali to fled to Iran will be quite high. This may resulted in the increase of the Muslims who practiced this proto-Shi'a Islam in Iran much earlier than in our timeline. As a result, I can see the Caliphate of Mogadishu being the Sunni Islamic nation while Sassanian Iran became the refuge of Ali's descendants and their followers.

Back to the Roman Empire, I can see something like the war with the Visigoths happened eventually in Hispania due to the tensions and the different religious practices between both sides. And since the Muslims can easily conquered Iberia from the Visigoths in our timeline from King Roderic, the Romans can do the same as well. As a result, Hispania once again became part of the Roman Empire. However, the Empire is now facing the old problem it used to face. It is now overstretching and administration from Constantinople became hard to do. So maybe, the idea of moving the capital to Syracuse by Constans II may be taken seriously in this timeline. However, that can only prolonged the problem, not solving it. So in the end, Constans II or his successor, Constantine IV, might have come to realize this and decide to return Hispania to the Visigoths. However, Syracuse remained the center of imperial administration to keep all territories within the Empire together.

There is a window of the Romans and Persians burying the hatchet with both empires realizing that the Caliphate has become a Sword of Damocles over both their heads the Romans would rethink their holdings in Italy allowing the Lombards to take over Italy and Sicily, Sardinia, Corsica to consecrate on its eastern borders.
