I use terracotta pots for my outdoor garden and plastic pots for shade loving plants. Simply because I think plastic would break easily when exposed to direct sunlight.

Nice informative sharing.l think ceramic pots also non biodegradable (though they made up of kind of soil )so they causes pollution after we throw them and remains longer time as it is in the soil .Expecting some focus on this topic . Thank you.
