We enjoy going through the supermarkets in Germany and seeing products with American flags. It always makes us chuckle. Would you consider these products "American"?

And most importantly, a nutri score of "E" for "Exellent".

This is always so much fun to watch. The next time you’re in the US you have to do the opposite look for German branded things in the US supermarket.

Germany does have pigs in a blanket, locally known as "Würstchen im Schlafrock".
Literally the same thing.

THe cops and donuts thing comes from back in the day when nothing was open in the middle of the night. The only places to get coffee at 3:30 AM were donut shops

I love this video! I currently live in Portugal with my portuguese husband and I always find it so funny when I shop at stores such as Lidl or Aldi and the products they have during "American week" are sometimes so funny but surprisingly not always that bad :)

I suspect the name Ohio was just something “American sounding” that’s close to Oreo. Think about it; both have 4 letters and start and end with o. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Deana and Phil, my friend who was a German "snow bird" would come here to Florida for the winter. He resided in Ratingen so I have visited your city on a few occasions. Germany is wonderful and you two make it even better! Your locals make some absolutely superb beer.

Dude, that potato dish from the bag looks amazing! I would totally eat that.

The stereotype of cops and donuts came about back in the day in cities like New York, when officers patrolled mostly on foot. The only thing open very early in the morning were coffee/donut shops and officers would duck in and have a cup of coffee to warm up during the Winter.

Still, this video makes me think how authentic some of the "international foods" in the local freezer section in the US actually are to their own countries xD

I use to open up the oreo and put the peanut butter on top of the cream, close it up and dunk in milk.

Homer says: " Doh Nuts is there anything they can't do?" Keep doing the great videos.

You can usually find Hörnchen-Nudeln in any supermarket or discounter in Germany. They might not be stocked where the pasta is but in the soup isle instead. They do very nicely as elbow maccaroni substitute

Westernpfanne in my head is, what the Marlboro Man would eat when out in the wild at a fire. :D

Was genuinely in the middle of eating a Boston cream donut when the donut segment happened.

Try adding thai chili and kaprao holy basil to that western pfanne. I can imagine that would taste great

Mac and cheese pizza is a thing here in the US. It's usually marketed towards children at nontraditional pizza places

To be fair, the „American“ style foods in Germany, is like the stuff you would get at a 7/11 or k-mart. It’s for us truckers 😂😂. Fast, cheap and it will hold you over, till you get a good meal.
