College Students from around the World try American Snacks!

We've flown 10 students from across the world from Tetr College of Business to try some American Snacks for the first time. We've also set them a challenge sell as many Twinkies in 10 minutes on the streets of London

I just can't understand in my old age the hate in the world when we are so much alike. This simple sampling and the communications between all of you shows, no matter where you are from, you have the same humor and basic being as everyone else. I love what Jolly is doing. As a diabetic, I have to say that I would rather have a Twinkie than diabetes, but I don't really want a Twinkie either.

The Hershey vomit thing is real. It’s called butyric acid and it’s a naturally occurring product of the breakdown of butterfat in milk, which Hershey uses. Cadbury uses fresh milk that has been treated to remove the butterfat, and thus doesn’t create as much of the butyric acid. It has nothing really to do with vomit but the acidic flavor reminds europeans who are not accustomed to it because vomit is very acidic.

Ollie you're not wrong. There is butyric acid in milk as well as vomit so its not wrong to say its aftertaste is sour or vomity. It is mainly the way hershey makes their chocolates so their processes is what gives it that taste.
Also because americans are so used to that taste, alot of chocolates that are imported into the US have added butyric acid to mimic that hershey taste to sell better.

As was pointed out, Takis are Mexican, from the Mexican snack company Barcel, which is then owned by the Mexican company Bimbo.

It has gotten to the point where there are American imitations, like Doritos Dinamata. Although those might have come from Frito-Lay's Sabritas division in Mexico.

There's an article somewhere from around summer 2023 that I read where Hershey's had seen all these comments from all these youtube and tik tok 'try' channels about their chocolate tasting a little off, so supposedly they tweaked the recipe to hide the pasteurized dairy. I can say I've certainly noticed a difference.

Fritos are my go-to quick snack. They remind me of the beach. I'd play in the ocean then after I would lay on my beach towel eating fritos and drinking simpler times. Simpler times...
