My southern self cried a little inside every time they said “scones, ” but I appreciate them acknowledging that it’s delicious! EDIT, because this comment is a war zone: here’s the TRADITIONAL difference between scones and American biscuits: 1) Scones use eggs, American biscuits don’t 2) Scones use more liquids than biscuits 3) Biscuits use more butter 4) Traditionally, they use different flours and milks; heavy cream for scones and buttermilk for biscuits. (There ARE, as always, exceptions depending on the recipe!)
