I'm only about 1/3 or 1/2 of the way through your 14 hour marathon Forest Ground tutorial but I have to say from what I've learned so far it's been well worth the money and as soon as I finish working through it I'll be buying this one immediately.

I wanna thank you for making such a comprehensive tutorial that enables people to piece together all the relevant pieces of information into a coherent final piece - something I haven't seen done before in this space, and it fills a gap where there was a much-needed resource. I was initially skeptical about the claims of '14+ hours with no parts skipped over and all narrated', but I'm so glad I took the plunge and bought it.

For any fencesitters out there curious as to how Jacob's tutorials measure up against others (I know I was): his coverage of the techniques is comprehensive enough that relative beginners can follow along, there is no unnecessary fluff or skipping/fast forwarding techniques, and the quality of work taught is AAA.

At this point I probably sound like a paid endorsement I'm sure, but I just wanted to express my sincerest gratitude. Since beginning with UE4 and getting back into modeling/texturing after 10 odd years I've been looking for 'that tutorial'. The one that explains everything, including the workflow, from beginning to end. This is it. Thank you Jacob and keep up the incredible work!

people need to know that knowledge isn't free. imo this tut is one of the best because it covers almost everything, I say almost because new techniques are invented everyday. I'll buy this tut because this is something I want to add to my arsenal.

It's free now? I mean for personal use and education but last time I came to this I couldn't afford it but planned on buying it when I increase my skills.

How would be the workflow for a non-realtime software? Painting the material in UE4 is easy, how would you paint a material in something like cinema or maya?

Thanks

Hi, I'm really interested to get this tutorials, but do I need to get the previous tutorial to follow up with this one?

Wait ... but where are the tutorials to build snow session?

Would this be easy to follow if I use Max instead of Maya? I use Substance, Max, UE4 and ZBrush. I haven't used Maya in almost 10 years. The last time I used Maya, it was owned by Alias, before Autodesk bought it.

I'd buy this 100% but I don't own substance or maya and also I want it for entertainment rather than education. I watch people gamedev on Twitch just for entertainment reasons, I love seeing a product being built. For $40 though it's not worth it for me. $9.99 price of a netflix subscribption would be nicer :))

So what are the advantages of using zBrush v. say Megascans/Quixel Suite for snow?

I am a programmer and I know nothing about the artists part. Is this too advanced to me?
