LCH is also deployed in the Thar desert region, It's deployed in the Himalayan ranges and the plateau of Tibet. Essentially LCH Prachand is designed to operate from the salt flats and sand deserts of Gujarat and Rajasthan respectively, adjoining pakistani borders on one end to the dense forests, snowy mountain ranges and extremely humid climate regions in Kashmir valley and North Eastern regions such as Cherapunji respectively. It can also be deployed on the landing ships and warships of the navy, as it has been rigorously tested in extreme marine conditions as well.
