Watch the Indian Air Force BOMBING the targets during an air exercise in Rajasthan. The Aircraft in action are SEPECAT Jaguars. Jaguar is a ground attack aircraft capable of carrying Nuclear Warheads, the aircraft has five hardpoints, four under the wings and one under the centre-line pylon stations. It can carry up to 4,500kg of payload.

SORRY FOR A BIT OF CAMERA SHAKE, it is really hard to track the aircraft using a camera screen in bright sunlight

The Jaguar was the second fighter I flew after the MiG 21 . Went on to fly the Mirage 2000 and the MiG 29 before retiring after 21 years service. Now an A320 Captain. Miss my fighter flying days every single day .

Those who are wondering about why delay of bombs, the answer is Jaguars fly at low altitude to evade radars and are used for deep penetration bombing missions. They need to given sufficient time to run away after dropping bombs from a low height, this is why the bombs would detonate after a time delay, otherwise the the Shockwave and ensuing fire might possibly cause damage to the aircraft.

Jaguar are ground support jets.
For people who don't know this.

Low altitude bombing should be handled exclusively by drones.

It is a matter of great shame as a nation that IAF still flies Jaguars, a fighter for which engines and parts have to be scavenged from other countries inventories who have scrapped them.
Also, kudos to our pilots, engineers and other IAF personnel that they are fighting on with such systems and doing their best to keep us safe.

Three bombs drops but only two bombs detonated... What happened with 3rd bomb??

the third bomb was on a delayed fuse, which delayed for about a year, so be patient, no worry, everything is under IAF control

That's a great footage. Well done. Am aware of the difficulty in capturing these actions on broad daylight and that too at a place like Rajasthan when the weather isn't merciful during peak summers.

Hot 🔥 Hot 🔥 Hot 🔥
