Great perspective. I'm in my 60s and regularly row and sail a 200 pound boat with 400 pounds of people and gear. Training supports my ability to bring family and friends to beautiful places full of wildlife. If I weren't staying fit we wouldn't be doing this. The big picture's pretty big. Thanks for pointing it out.

off topic but I recently bought a conjugate training book from a real big author and I was shocked how much better the old elite fts training manual is. Another reason why I’ll always try to support the company and the content!

Strength Coaches develop a persons complete athletic ability through training programming specific to their needs. Bench, Squat, Clean, DL, etc. are all considerations of what somebody needs. Great strength coaches also provide knowledge on nutrition, rest, recovery, etc. It's the best job I ever had the past 25 years. Been lucky to help a ton of people reach their goals. Nothing better than that.

Great vid. Excellent wisdom. It's easy to focus on the athlete perspective when you're young but more important to focus on the functional lifestyle perspective throughout life.

Sam is doing a great job and it seems like that he becomes "the new or the/a face" of Elitefts. Dave is Dave and the OG, but its really cool that guys like Sam make a whole bunch of different new stuff, create more content on a regular basis. I appreciate this a lot. Thank you guys!
