Book of Enoch have the same story line of the Somerians, altough different names and characters but it's very similar. Those fallen angels are the Anunnaki's or Igigi in Somerian's story

I read the book of Enoch and yes it's fascinating but don't forget what the Fr. Chad Ripperger said that curiosity is not a virtue. Which means that one of the reason this book is not in the Bible is that those information is not necessary to be known in order to reach our salvation.

I began my Christian walk as a Baptist. Southern Baptist to be specific. Then I migrated to Independent Baptist. In 2012 I moved over to Presbyterian because their view, supposedly, of Sovereign Grace I felt was more in line with Biblical teaching. Still holding to certain Baptist distinctions, I’m somewhat of a “Bapaterian”. Among all I have been in an extreme minority for holding to a literal interpretation of Genesis chapter six. I believe the Nephiliem were actual giants because that’s what the Bible says. It’s also a curiosity to me that the early church as well as Judaism taught such at one time. What I did not know was that Jude directly quoted the Book of Enoch. I am familiar with Jude it just never registered with me that he was quoting from the actual book. I recently met a man from Ethiopia. He told me Ethiopia is one of the oldest Christian areas. He said they had the book of Enoch before there was what we call the bible.

As a child my parents had a book that illustrated these biblical stories. I remember being spellbounded by the one about the human giants. Now as an adult I can’t help but think the pre-age human bones are proof.

You have to Read the Book of Enoch and the Book of Giants to understand the old testament. Both of these books where found in the dead sea scrolls. Chuck Missler was talking about the Nephiem in the 1970s. His youtube videos are awesome.

Saint Jude quoted the Book of Enoch in the New Testament at Jude 1:14-15
Now of these Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying: Behold, the Lord cometh with thousands of his saints:

Thank You Sir for bringing up Enoch. It's been my opinion even as a Protestant that Enoch was supposed to be in the Bible, since he's mentioned in Luke, Hebrews and Jude, and his father Jared mentioned in Luke and Jasher, mentioned in Joshua and 2 Samuel. 66 just doesn't seem like a good # for completion like 70 does..

I was praying fervently to St. Raphael for my husband who was diagnosed with prostate cancer. I saw an angel following behind him and he was huge. He had to be at least nine feet

I'm imagining the flood now. I always found it interesting how Noah sent out one of the doves. He sent the dove out from the boat 3 times. The dove came back twice. It obviously had nowhere to perch at. Which of course means there were no trees. Hearing this fascinating topic on the book of Enoch makes me imagine how high the waters must really have been. It makes sense to me now. I remember when I first read in the Bible about Noah's Ark, I thought why such brutal waters. We're just people. Did it really take that much to extinguish us? Now I know, God was wiping out Giants that WERE NOT human.
