Civil Engineer here, the problem with this “concrete” is that it is pretty weak, it is actually more like a mortar since it has to have very fine aggregates - if any at all - for the muzzle to not get clogged as it is printed. If printed too fast it can buckle/deform due to the added weight on top, and if printed too slow it can rip/break as it is being applied. It is relatively a new technology and it is used for simpler non-load bearing structures like benches.

I work extensively with concrete as a civil engineer. This is not a solution. Concrete that pumped by the 3d printer has low strength and will be suspectable to freeze thaw spalling. The cavity lacked water and vapor barrier, and will wick moisture from outside into the cavity. Leading to mold. The roof can not be printed, and js likely a engineered wood joists roof system.
This might sound cool. But it's bad+ just go with foam sandwich form system or precast.

So... they paid half a million for the walls alone!!... Then paid more for the foundation, the electrical, The plumbing, roofing, flooring, Air-conditioning, painting, kitchen counters and cabinets and landscaping because i guarantee you they did not do any of it themselves! 🙂

1/2 million for 250 sq ft garage seems extremely expensive! How did they save money?

Like the guy we built a house for, went out and bought a 5 ton military surplus 6x to haul gravel to save money…the purchase, transport, inspection, registration, fuel, and maintenance far exceeded the cost we could deliver it for…but what do we know!

What a beautiful fantasy story, with a picture to match the fantasy.

You're only “saving” if you continue to use this machine to build and sell houses. This is something a construction company might invest in. There is still a lot of work after making the walls

For 1/2 million you could hire entire crew . Not only you let others to make some money but your place will look much better !!!

Because this is concrete, its closest equivilance would be building all your walls out of mason blocks.
It would have been alot cheaper to just build this with Mason blocks...
