why would you put floor joist over a slab? Your carpet tile or wood should go over the slab. With wood you would want to use a barrier or float it though.

in California nobody uses a floor slab why didn't you show how the walls connect with each other that's the important part if you don't get that right the walls of fall down

To add a wall u might need braces to hold the first wall
