There's nothing worse than the, violation, one feels after being robbed. I know it and don't wish it on anyone else. Stay strong and pray that the people try to sell the rocks to an acquaintance of yours in the "rock hound" community. We may be a small group but we are fiercely protective of our own. Was looking up on rocks today and just saw your past notice. I am so sad. I know that rocks and shells and other finds can bring you back to that day and place and time you found them. Special memories.😢 I left mine behind accidently when i had to move. Years in the making- but some people stealing!! That is cruel. May God Bless You❤🕊️🙏

Oh no! It’s one of my biggest fears, and something I’ve experienced so I completely understand the pain you are going through. I live offgrid for most of the year and I have no real place of my own or an actual safe place for keeping my finds, and that gets weird at times. I’ve even had storage units robbed. I do have a few solid locations though that most stuff ends up, nowadays.

Of all the things I value the most, it’s those personal finds. One of a kind Fairburn agates, once in a lifetime gold nuggets… it’s a heart crushing thought. I don’t even care about their individual value, it’s the piece, being able to hold it and live the moment again. All the gear can be replaced, those finds can’t.

Thankfully in the Fairburn agate realms, there are basically no two the same and people sharing pics on social media has just about made them a worthless thing to steal, though it still happens. It’s such a tight crowd that most people can walk by an agate at a show and know who found it, if they weren’t standing there with them when they pulled it from the earth.

Sadly, not all gems, minerals and awesome rocks can be traced so easily. Although, if you have any pics of notable pieces, and if you haven’t already, tossing them on all the Facebook rockhound/mineral pages and pages for your area, just might bring some home to you. Even the local Facebook yard sale/buy sell groups, as well as marketplace.

Anyways, I just recently found your channel and love the content and knowledge you share. It is sad that this stuff happens to the people trying to inspire others. It’s a massive blow that most won’t understand. I’ll be hoping Mother Nature doubles down for ya on future finds.

After having my whole rig stolen, I learned my lesson. I have a 1/4 thick metal safe that is bolted from the inside of the safe through truck bed into the frame. Someone would have to show up with good cutting tools to get in. And the truck is unstartable without me.

What area was your stuff stolen? Nearest city, County, or State. We could all watch our local auction houses, online sellers, etc for any Identifiable items...

Adventure rocks keep every detail of their find alive in your heart. The pain of their loss will diminish with each new treasure but never go away until you feel lucky to have had them at all.
