Short Detour from the Bridgerton Content to try out another corset / stays pattern and this time it's RedThreaded's Georgian stays! I know literally nothing about the Georgian period so we're going purely on personal aesthetics. This is also going to probably be the last of RedThreaded's patterns I try unless you guys have a burning need for me to test out another one. Let me know any other corset or stays patterns you'd like me to test out, especially if you know of any free patterns!

Since you have several sets of stays/corsets now, I would love a review of how comfortable each one is for all-day wear.
Your videos are always so lovely and high quality, you are doing a great job!!

I love this series. Seeing all these corsets and stays is so interesting and helpful!

Edit to add: take your time to yourself and find what excites you. We'll be here whe. You are ready to come back to videos.

I completely understand the anxiety about feeling stagnant. I know I have put things off (especially when it comes to school) when I find myself feeling like I’m doing the same thing over and over, and not getting better/improving. I want you to know that you are seen and supported. I love seeing what you have done, and am looking forward to what the future brings for you.

Whatever you do, I’m gonna be here to watch 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’ve never commented before, but I’ve watched dang near everything you’ve made, because I love learning new sewing techniques and your personality is great. Perfect cozy watching for when I’m doing embroidery or studying, and I hope you find something that excites you soon!
ETA: If you need to step away from youtube for awhile to figure things out, I know I’ll still be here when you get back, and I’m sure many others will be as well.

I was just talking with a friend of mine about how I was intimidated to start this pattern... What incredible timing! Wonderful video as always, thank you for your hard work!!!

Don't feel like you have to force the excitement. That's the fastest way to burnout. Take a break if you need to, your fans will still be here :) I'll be here for whatever you decide to do, if you need to change it up to feel like it's fun again. I enjoy your videos :)

Idk if you like watching other sewing channels, but hazariel does some cool stuff with a green screen. That could be fun?

I know you don't care for the look of these stays but they look cute on you

I think you should do a project that is a break from sewing. That way you can try to recharge your sewing battery. I would love to see journaling videos even if it's you planning out a project.

Edit: You could even revist some past projects before youtube and explain where you were in your path and if you would make any changes.

I always appreciate your honesty and review of the patterns. Your videos always inspire to me want to make my own clothes. Would you ever consider making your own patterns and selling them?

I totally get feeling burn out on the content that you're doing. I hope you're able to find a balance that makes you happy! Do you have any idea what sort of other content you would like to make? I'd love to see what sort of other content you would do.

I really love how you break these patterns down! Also loved the Baby Bat content!
As far as feelings of stagnation and filming dread/anxiety goes, you're so incredibly valid. Your videos are amazing and you obviously put a ton of work into them. If you need to make changes in content or style for your own sake, I'm 100% here for that. I really hope you can figure out what works for you and brings you the joy and excitement you deserve!!

I totally understand feeling frustrated by stagnation. Most recently, to help me get out of that, I bought a bag of masarepa and borrowed a book on Latin American cooking from the library and made all the recipes in it that called for masarepa. Totally outside my comfort zone and there were quite a few flops, but I learned a lot and now I feel ready to tackle some of the projects that didn't excite me before. (And not eat masarepa items for a while 😆)

While you might feel low energy in your videos, I really appreciate that it doesn't feel like you're jumping out of my screen. Those kinds of videos bother me. I like being able to watch and learn how someone else works without worrying if they're going to get in my face. Hopefully that makes sense.

Thank you for your honesty and being real. I learn something new from each of your videos.

Your energy level is completely understandable, what with everything going on.
Please know that you will always have a community, no matter where you take your channel, or if you need a mental health reset break. I've always loved seeing you try new techniques and be adventurous in creating, it's refreshing and educating at the same time! Even if you veer away from sewing for a bit, or switch to a completely different video structure, I'm excited to see what the future holds for this channel

This is really interesting because I made her 1860s pattern but found it had way too much room in the bust, but I am basically flat as a board. I removed an entire gusset and it is still large. Loving all your videos.

Hi, hope you can take some time off without worrying about content and the like. You posted a lot of wonderful videos and taking a break to recharge your emotional battery is totally OK.
The important thing is that you feel yourself (don't know how to put it as english is not my first language)

On another note, those stays look really nice, but I can see how the bust area seems to needs a little more space. Personally I now choose either stays with both front and back lacing or modify them with a front seem, to be able to add a little slit with tiny eyelet and lacing to the top 6 inches of the stays, thus creating additional room for the twins to grow... Not always accurate but comfort come first sometime, and the shape does not change with the dress on top.
As always, congratulations to completing this project!

Please if you need take time off we will be here when you come back ☺️ also this series is very nice to see I'd love to see a side by side of different stays you made to really highlight the differences

Your video got suggested to me by the mysterious youtube algorithm and I really liked it. I would never have known about your „low energy“, I just enjoyed the video and the high quality filming a lot!
You immediately gained one new happy subscriber ;) all the best! Create what makes you happy!

I love this series and all your videos. They're super informative, help me know what to look for when I do mockups and relaxing. Your personality shines though and I appreciate that.
Do the videos you love, in the way you love to make them. I'll keep watching them in any case!

The strays back then we’re actually smaller in the breast area like that. If you look at older photos from the era, women looked just like this.
How you put this together was perfect!!

I love what you do, but if you want to intersperse other types of videos, I'm down! I'd love to see how you might use your historical/fantasy pieces in a modern outfit or top 10 dream costumes.

I watch your channels while I do other creative things like knitting and crochet. Maybe this is not relevant to you channel, but what about exploring other historical textile and fiber skills, occasionally. Like, weaving, spinning, and things like that. You are an amazing story taler. Maybe those activities could be turned into a theatrical bit, like your wonderful reveals. It doesn't always have to be a tutorial style, but more of diving into a learning and research side. When I feel stuck, leaning into another craft and lighting that fire of something fresh and new, helps respark the passion for the craft I was feeling blahhh about. And maybe you don't even need to put it on your channel but just try something in in you personal life. But I'd love to see it.

I've loved watching your videos. :) I've learned so much about how to elevate my sewing from hobbiest to 'professional' while watching truly enjoyable videos. Thank you for the work that you've put in!
