Let’s watch another video about stuff i can’t afford.

For me the most incredible thing, besides the high fps, is the incredible low power consumption of 7950x3d.

I love how fierce the competition has gotten. This is marvelous for the consumer.

Its funny how the best CPUs in the market paired with the best GPU can barely get above 60 frames on Hogwarts Legacy at full HD

Great display considering the power consumption difference, 7800X3D should be even better and somewhat more afforadable.

When game companies optimize for large cache sizes the difference can increase over time. It'll be interesting to see what intel is coming up with to counter AMDs flagship cpu.

Cool to see the cpu delivering more fps consuming less. What is baffling is to see Hogwards Legacy making 70+ fps on the top hardware possible with a 4090, and still that much CPU bound.

Do another video comparison between both but this time with only the 3D V cache CCD enable in BIOS I saw benchmarks of games with this config with massive gains

stock or "scheduler set to prefer cache" ?

what are your PBO2 settings? i see you got the 7950x3D to go pass 5250 mhz on the V-cache. i can't gete mine to go over 5250.

Forget about the 7950X3D for gaming, 7800X3D is what you should watch out for

Such a huge difference in Horizon. Also, I wonder if ray tracing will make use of cache?

:o incredibru, but it kills me to know that we are experimenting with new tech beta testing... a 5k system for random game crashes, crushes me everytime to know that... im more likely to suffer the steam deck then to get a rig like that.... im hoping for something like a 6700 xt system in the future but dont like the idea of continiously buy expensive pc rigs, and im getting older too, so maybe something a little more down to earth, maybe a 1k pc plus a new qd oled or like monitor :) i'll be thinking about this for ages to come.

People keep commenting on the TDP, yet people who spend $500-$700 dollars on a CPU aren't going to be bothered about a lightbulbs difference in power consumption. You think it's relevant to heat in the system? Rewatch the video.

If a small difference in wattage is a deal breaker for you, maybe these chips aren't for you.

Doing all this at less 100w in almost all games is crazy

Alone because of the efficiency I'd take of course the 7950X3D but I'm too happy with my 5800X3D

Efficiency is nice but AM5 boards price is just insane at the moment. Maybe it's regional thing but I can't find any affordable mid-high boards for these chips. While with 1700, I can still buy a very good Z690 or a decent Z790 for a way lower price than X670, hell even B650 is expensive.

What kind of display resolution is that? Is like half way between 1080 and 1440p?

From what I've seen most games have troubles optimizing with double ccd from ryzen, actually disabling one of the ccds is beneficial for gaming appareantly. The 7800x3d will probably be the king for it's price, but we will see
