YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME, NOT AGAIN!!! It’s Day 16 of Jase & Simon’s epic over-landing expedition down the Carson River Track in Western Australia & after much anticipation the floodwaters have FINALLY begun to recede.

Getting the rigs and the camera crew to the other side of the river won’t be easy, with hidden boulders and pockets of fast moving water to navigate. The ever present threat of hungry saltwater crocodiles lurking in the floodwaters also understandably has the boys on their toes.

Jase, Simon & Jesse make it across in one piece, but this EXCLUSIVE BEHIND-THE-SCENES footage shows how the camera car (The D-Max from Series 14) wasn’t so lucky…. Watch to find out if the team be able to salvage the drowned D-MAX for the SECOND TIME! ↓↓↓ More info ↓↓↓

After you’re done, access 160+ hours of 4WD Action + UNRELEASED Adventures TOO EXTREME for TV & YouTube + many more EXCLUSIVE subscriber benefits. That’s just another reason why it pays to be UNLEASHED!

I’m enjoying the community spirit and bonding session each week between viewers in the comments as much as the vids themselves this year

Hit it way too fast, water went up the windscreen and into the top of the snorkel. That snorkel intake points a very bad direction.
Also you can disconnect the hose from the intercooler to the engine manifold, start the engine and use the turbo to blow water out of the intercooler.

Is the snorkel to airbox fully sealed?

Wow !!! That was an awesome crossing !! enjoyed watching that so much 👍 The camera man’s vehicle was like a submarine !! mmm like the Tom Cruise movie when he drowned the Porsche ! Who is the U Boat captain ? 😀 Fantastic boys “ True Adventures “ you do what we dream about ! Keep safe out there 👍😀

Awesome vid guys, talk about on the edge. Can't help but think if the dmax had a conventional type snorkel head it may have less chance of sucking water off the windscreen.
Always enjoy your guys adventures truly epic. Keep it up

Might be time to get a fwd facing 'norkel or changing the input of the rear facing. Yea you get more dust and bugs but thats what the filter is designed to stop. Obviously it doesnt stop water.

Foam ear plugs in the drains in the bottom of the doors. Best thing to do for deep water crossing, especially if you may be in there longer than intended. Takes 2 mins to do all the drains and assuming you have good seals, it can keep water from entering the car for a pretty decent amount of time.
Has saved me a few times from getting soggy carpets.
