Hi,
let me ask u something that maybe is stupid:
You need to select an object to 'save selected' when export,
so, it is possible to select various objects from the navigation list and then do the right click 'select object' thing? Or this is a tool to save just one object each time?
3dsmax user mind here :)

I have there objects as my blender Startup file. So when I open a project and SaveSelect items, the saved item appears with the 3objects from my startup file. how do I solve that? Because I expect the file to only contain what I saved. I'd also suggest an option to SaveSelect the Object with it's collection. Something like " Keep Inside Collection" option. So when I open the saved file, the object must be in a Collection as in the original fine.
