Try as he might, Sean Carroll just couldn't penetrate WLC's formidable wall of personal incredulity.

Can barely hear the dialogue over that intrusive piano music.

Adding music was a really bad choice! But doubling down by making it so loud...? Genius!

I have no idea why Craig decided to take this guy on . He took a beating from Carroll

I'm surprised that Sean and William allowed that person to play the piano during their debate.

I’m a psychoanalyst and I’m here to tell you that this is the unconscious cry of the child for his absent father: “pop. Pop, POP!”

So because something can pop out of nothing everything should pop out of nothing? Im waiting for another Yahweh to pop out of nothing then

i'll take "people who spent a career not wanting to hear an answer" for all the money in the world, alex

Why don't things pop out of nothing? Simple: once the universe exists, you don't have a 'nothing' for anything to pop out of!

I love it when WLC gets corrected on his dishonesty.

Really riding that argument from incredulity and misrepresentation 'til the wheels fall off. Sheeah.

Someone should edit the video counting the amount of times WLC has said "..popping out.."

Consider Guth’s 2007 paper Eternal inflation and its implications. In the abstract Guth writes,

“Although inflation is generically eternal into the future, it is not eternal into the past: it can be proven under reasonable assumptions that the inflating region must be incomplete in past directions

Perhaps Guth is saying that inflation is not eternal into the past but the universe itself can still be eternal into the past? No. On page 14, Guth writes,

“If the universe can be eternal into the future, is it possible that it is also eternal into the past? Here I will describe a recent theorem [43] which shows, under plausible assumptions, that the answer to this question is no”

What the hell is up with the music?!?!?

What is the point of the loud piano music? It does not add to video, it is distracting and intrusive.

WLC, the most tiresome religious apologist ever.

Please repost without the music. It adds nothing, and distracts from the dialogue

I only came here bc the comment section was shut down on the original video. Sean won by a landslide. Theologist have to realize that they need to stick to theology

More like "cherry picking" the debate

Craig doesn't even agree that "extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence."
He said this in one podcast, he vehemently disagrees with that Sagan quote.
That kind of thinking at the very least implies that he would believe any claim with below minimum evidence (or probably none at all).
Either way, it seems like his opposition to the statement is rooted in his utter disgust, if you will, of anything that even remotely refutes his beliefs, based on the timing and manner of speaking during said podcast.
