WLC is awesome. I met him years ago at The Ohio State University after he gave a talk. I was an atheist at the time and he was super nice to me and signed my copy of Reasonable Faith.

He left an apt bible verse for me alongside his signature: 2 Corinthians 10:5

There's a subtle feature of Craig that is not easily noticed, but is REALLY IMPRESSIVE: everything is optimized to achieve his outcome. He has mastered communication and rhetoric. He has mastered debate. He preps for debate by mastering the opponent's work. He has philosophical mastery. His conduct as a debater is optimized to obey Christ. His choice of post-debate student engagement is optimized.

It's incredible.

WLC strikes me as a very NICE man. I almost feel an incongruity with the idea that a nice man can be an effective debater. perhaps ive seen too many Atheist debaters who seem full of hate all the time. very refreshing.

WLC best and most honest work is expanding and teaching the genre of mytho-history when unpacking Genesis. Those first few chapters of Genesis are a mix of myth and history and finally someone so respected by Christian’s has admitted that.

Tell them what you're going to say, tell them, and then tell them what you told them. I forget where I heard this but it's great advice for keeping the attention of an audience.

Anyhoo, WLC debated an atheist at a University in South Africa years ago. My friend who is a Philosophy Professor and is agnostic at best, doesn't really know who Dr Craig is, but he remembers watching the smack down. (I mention he studied Philosophy, so that you understand why he found the debate intriguing, but it didn't make him think lol).

WLC is a legend worldwide.
