Fixing pitching with your elbow is probably a combination of 2 things:

- You should take a bigger stride to the plate and use your whole body and really try and push forward to pitch instead of just your arm. You will hurt your arm and it’s incorrect pitching form
- Really try and get your arm stretched out when it’s in the air behind you so you use your whole arm including your bicep area instead of almost just flicking with your elbow

This combination should help you throw with your whole arm and body instead of just your elbow.

Not sure if it’s the same with Blitzball as it is with baseball but you should give it a shot.

Hey, I'm a baseball player. When you throw the ball make sure that your arm is at a 50 degree angle from you shoulder instead of a 90+ degree angle

Usually when you fell your elbow is taking more pressure than your shoulder when you throw, its because of arm slot or that your form is very loose. To combat this, try to feel your shoulder push forward when you throw. You still want to have a flick in your throw, but maintain a level of drive coming from your shoulder. Hope this helps!

Your follow through tells everything... commit to the pitch and really bring that leg around... tuck your left hand into the armpit harder and use that to help whip your leg around

I have the same elbow problem in baseball and im pushing mid-high 80s.

My best tip is to feel all your mechanics when you throw, work from the ground up and make sure your entire body is throwing.

If you are leaning too much during the throw, ngl it lookg like you might be on some lf these, drop the opposite hip a little, your right hip.

This will square your body up, and then focus on hip rotation and follow through.

It will bring your velo up simply to believe you can get higher while working on mechanics.

And of course, be very careful with your arm if there is elbow tension, throwing stuff faster while having extra tension is a huge magnet for tommy johns.

If you cant feel pressure from your legs to your core when you throw, get a little lower stance, it will keep you a little more compact and a little more tense, helping your body transfer energy.


Also just noticed after i watched your pitches, if you are trying to pitch in a game, be careful about your release point, it looked different for all 3 pitches, could be a huge tell if people pick it up.

to help with throwing with your elbow you need to extend your arm as you throw and also dont focus on throwing with your shoulder, instead you should fix your form by pushing off of your back foot more and also rotate your body more. you should also try to follow through more. but all in all you need to extend your arm more and really try to fix your form. but your improvement has been amazing and you will get there i know it.

1st : use a longer Stride 2nd try a higher leg lift/ more athletic leg lift and I can’t help you on the arm slot through a phone. Hope this helps Jack

To throw more with your shoulder, during your separation, get your throwing hand higher over your head, then just rotate your upperhalf and release. Might take some time, so i suggest practicing by turning sideways and practice the separation, then step and throw. Hope it helps 😁

Something you can try working on is hip rotation while keeping your shoulder in till the last second of the throw. A minor change that goes a long way with hard pitches.

Maybe try rotating your torso more in both your windup and delivery to get more shoulder into the throw and overall consistent arm slot

Pulling with ur glove hand into your chest and rotating your hips through the strike zone will help with ur elbow as well as velocity. It will also bring u straighter to your target
