Interesting idea. And for everybody who says it's "free energy", it's not. Magnets lose their field over time and with excessive use and in other extreme conditions. This is not free energy. The energy that is seen as "free" is in fact drawn from the weakening of the magnets. So yes, this design would indeed work. So instead of bashing a really interesting and creative design that is actually a solid idea and concept, how about ask more important questions such as speeds and control of, what kind of torque you'd be dealing with, especially if you want to use something like this for any heavy duty purpose. And personally, I'd be interested in various different sizes. Perhaps a smaller or larger design might be more efficient?

The concepts that challenge or seem to infringe on the realm of "free energy", actually have a chance at making some remarkable breakthroughs. Why? Because eventually someone is going to come up with something that does seem to generate "free energy", because when it is first created, it may operate on principles we don't yet understand. But everything takes energy to run. Energy cannot be created or destroyed, only transformed. So if it seems free, try stepping outside the box and thinking of different, less obvious ways that something can be generating energy from seeming nothing.

And yea, I know this video is a year old, but I'm just seeing it, and it's cool as shit, and all the "flat earthers" and "free energy" junkies really need a detox back to reality. I don't recall a single time in thie entire video where "free energy" was ever mentioned. So here an idea to try and help everybody out of the whole "free energy" madness: if it seems like free energy, look at what's being used, and then go to the library or local college and crack open an engineering book or a science book, and then figure out how the thing is actually working. You might find it interesting, and hopefully educating, that way we can dispel this whole "free energy" nonsense and actually have real, meaningful conversations about things like this that can actually benefit everybody. And then maybe we can all have nice things, yea?

i deff give you props on the creative out of the box thinking... truly, but i still think energy loss due to friction, gravity, and just the unbreakable 2nd law... would still need to input some amount of energy for it to stay running... hate being in that group, but over unity can't exist... even using magnetic bearings and bushings.. always a loss.. love the design though truly, even though i know over unity cannot be achieved, doesn't mean we (myself included) should give up... 99.999% efficiency is possible and other than a few un-used design come even close.. hate playing both sides of the fence lol but if it ever happens its gonna be crazy innovative way out in left field designs and concepts by someone who just never stopped tinkering and thinking.. props on the design

There id no free energy,
Looking at the machine, why should it turn. The magnet pulls the opposite pole then it forgets it is supposed to pull and all of a sudden it lets go.

"due to the absence of heat" and "minimal friction" are conflicting... if there is friction.. there is heat... whether you can measure it or not... there is indeed energy loss in the form of heat and resistance.

It won't work, the repulsion from the same poles magnets will prevent the rotor from turning perpetually even if they're a bit apart. Any little bit of interference by the same pole magnets will eventually make the rotor stop. Cool concept to experiment with though.

Due to friction, the energy required to position the magnets will always be greater than the energy attained.

Interesting take on using magnets for a magnet powered motor. Could you install magnets 180 degrees opposite of the spinning magnets and opposite polarity to make the machine more balanced and double the power?

What configuration assignment are the magnetic poles for the rotating arm and the other four magnet arms which move in and out with the motor? Very Kool Design!
