Soooo no one ever second guessed an angel who throws drinking parties and drives around in fancy cars with plates that say "angel"? Yeah sorry but these clearly weren't the brightest bulbs. These poor kids had to suffer because their parents were idiots and trusted a monster. I truly truly doubt the parents had no clue their kids were being assaulted too. I recently learned that many courts are trying to change the laws about the statute of limitations for abuse victims, so that they can still have a change to take their abuser to court. They want the time limit to start when the victim realizes/comes to terms with the fact that they were abused, rather than starting when the abuse started, because of how long it can take someone to work their way through the process of serviving & healing.

As a mechanic I know and beg people to please never leave your car on a jack.... use jack stands.... to many things can go wrong leaving your cars on jacks and alot of it is easy to make look like an accident

It's a huge relief, too, that the leader's true identity was discovered and that he'll never be getting out of prison.

I heard about this case years ago. Dateline did a really great story with interviews of the girls called 'Angels and Demons' worth watching. You did a great job of detailing this story. It's a hard story to tell in so many ways! Usually people get stuff wrong, but you really did your research! Really good job. I've been in a cult and you just don't know that your thinking is wrong when you've been groomed since you were a child. It's so hard to unravel it all in your thinking and rebuild your whole identity and concept of reality.

This is horrendous, it's so fortunate someone reported lou with the drug dealing suspicion and the detective sparked an interest or he could of gotten away with this forever.
