The Cult - She Sells Sanctuary HD

The rock classic, recorded at Olympic studios in Barnes and produced by Steve Brown. This was recorded and released as a stand-alone single but it was included on the band's next album, 'Love'. Though it spent months in the UK charts, and was one of the best selling tracks of the year, it actually never reached the top ten. It was the last release to feature the original Cult drummer Nigel Preston.

This was played at my wedding in 1987  Every man and his dog was up dancing! Sadly my lovely darling wife Teresa passed away in 2009. This will always remind me of what a great day that was. Forever missed, forever loved!

Every generation thinks they grew up with the best music, however we who grew up in the 80s really were spoilt with some of the very best bands and songs ever

I saw this video when I was working security at the Ritz rock/dance club in NYC in the 80's. I loved it. Over the years I forgot who the band was, what the title of the song was, what even the melody was. I wondered and watched out that I might hear this song again even once for 40 years. I just knew that I *loved that song I had heard. Then, I was sitting in a bar watching the last Super Bowl...and viola!! They played it as the soundtrack during the end of a quater leading up to a commercial break! I yelled out "What is the name of this song!!!" And more than 1 person then yelled the title back to me. I found it! After 40 years, now I'm finally happy.

Riding around in 85/86, listening to this one, figuring things out, the whole world was out there waiting.

The whole song is phenomenal but the intro when the drums kick in is just something else. I still get chills 38 years later.
Sound of my youth

I remember my dad blasting this on his bang and olufsen 5500 sound system, then in his L200 pick up. He passed away when I was 11 back in 2014. I’m 21 this year and play this every so often to keep living his memories❤️

My dad passed away yesterday and now I'm making a playlist with all the songs he loved and I remember him by. This is one of them. Thank you dad for showing me the greatest artists of all times. Loved, missed and never forgotten 🤘🔥❤🙏
