How To Disable Microsoft Software Protection (Speed Up Your PC!)

Today I'll be showing you how to disable the Microsoft Software Protection process, which creates excess CPU usage. This is often the cause of system slow-downs on Windows 10 machines.

This is a good video but, if you follow the very last step (beginning at 2:37), your Windows 11 will be deactivated. What that means, essentially, is that Microsoft will believe you don't have a valid license for Windows (it happened to me). I recommend not disabling the Microsoft Software Protection Platform: the steps to stop the service are OK but don't permanently disable it, unless you want to deal with the ramifications of having Windows deactivated on your computer.

if you want to activate your windows again, just change the number 4 to 2 again

i did this then windows removed my license off me and it wouldnt reset untill i changed the factor from 4 to 2 is there any way around this?

Try doing that Registry edit part and u will lose the activation of your windows. Just want u to know.
