The retrogen adapter was intentionally made for this device. I am glad you decided to review both. I got the v1.0 I got it as soon as it came out basically, and the retrogen game. Also that isn't usb at all or any form.... Also famicon did not use a 72 pin connector it used 60 something.

Awesome review. I have this handheld myself and its awesome. Regarding all the complains posted here...the mini usb adapter, the charger and all the adapters (to play NES Genesis and Super GB) are intended to be use when hook up to the TV. Remember people... this is designed to be a portable supernintendo that can also serve as a home console that can play multiple systems.

Impressive how much you're banging this thing around in the video and it still continues playing. I've owned one of these for about a year now, and if you barely tap a game while it's in the machine it usually locks up. I wound up having to jam some paper board in the slot to keep game carts from moving.

I get wanting to play the original game on the original hardware, I do. I collect for older systems myself for that reason. But if you are not playing on the original hardware I don't understand the point of using the original games, at all.

Looks pretty sweet! Would you choose this over the Supa Boy, if nothing else for its ability to play multiple systems?

This looks pretty damn good, the emulation looks spot on and it is great that it has a good feel and build quality. One of these would be great to go travelling with an assortment of games.
Be nice if it had a Famicom solution as well.
Looking forward to seeing your review of the Retron 5 when it becomes available.

The black version looks nicer and thank you for using primal rage in your review now I have a game to look for for my Snes I had it back in the day and love it I had forgotten about it until now.
