Thanks for the "in game" practice methods. Improvement tips that only help people with access to aim trainers are not as helpful as things you can actually practice while you play

Something to mention about sensitivity, there's a lot to be said about the impact of pixel skipping (less accurate input) when you play on a lower dpi (mouse sens setting). It's not the biggest problem but it's a very avoidable variable that you can rule out by changing the ratio of in game sens to dpi. An example is how I used to play on 8 in game sens and 400 dpi, and by simply changing at a factor of four to 2 in game and 1600 dpi it stays the same and there is 0 pixel skipping. (This can be annoying in other games as they have a lower in game sens and you often have to go into the looow decimals or fully change your dpi individually for games that don't let you but its still worth it IMO)

Bro this is a masterpiece guide. What I’ve learned here.
1. I concentrate way to much on my reticle and cannot track enemies. I will trust that I will be centered and focus on the player model going forward rather then my reticle.
2. I need more practice lol

Very enlightening video. I've been struggling with aim a lot lately. I play on 800 dpi and 4 sens with 0.9 ads. After watching this and listening to all your advice, I'm considering dropping my dpi and upping the in game sens. Alot of the things you mentioned are all things I've caught myself doing at one point or another. I'm looking forward to working on my game!

One thing that helped me keep these things in mind was completing the Jade Rabbit catalyst. I had to take fights, but couldn’t have the advantage in most duels, so the only way to win was to keep most of these principles in mind. I still found myself getting frustrated because I was using an weapon that wasn’t the most competitive, but it sure teaches you some lessons about situational awareness, shooting from cover, and reticle placement. Having said that, it was still frustrating when there was a team of good aggressive players. But I guess that’s where the being comfortable comes into play. But doing something that feels more like work than fun will not appeal to most players.

There's also a measurable decrease in mouse input latency by running higher dpi on your mouse, in other words keep your edpi the same by doubling your dpi and halving your sense. I recently went from 700 dpi and 6 sensitivity to 1400 dpi on 3 sensitivity, actually feels much more consistent (maybe responsive is the right word) now.

Great video. I’m at 1000 dpi and I think my in game is 10 & 1.0, respectively. I have around a 2.54 efficiency this season, my highest yet. My problem when I tried to lower the dpi was feeling slow and cramped when moving. I will have to try tweaking some settings because your video makes the balance between movement and gunplay look pretty smooth.

i found that the battler pulse rifle works quite well for me. i run gutshot straight and perpetual motion on the crafted variant because i tend to fight from cover and at middle ranges. the scope helps with shot placement, and i can still hipfire if necessary. some players get down on me for gutshot because it reduces target acquisition. but the extra bodyshot damage does help if i cant land headshots. perpetual motion means extra stability and handling while im moving. and since i never sit still, this benefits me greatly. i also considered a non-meta build. if you go in with a meta build, everyone is gonna be running that too. so look at non-meta options. itll throw off their game because theyre looking at you going "wtf? how does that work?" but you have a custom designed build that suits your needs. i pair this with a hung jury (explosive rounds, subsistence) or a seventh seraph carbine (hipfire grip, moving target). i feel like this allows me to cover most firefights. the hung jury for longrange fights. seventh seraph carbine for close range. and battler for midrange fights. i personally feel like this is a well rounded build for me. i can engage at multiple distances. all i need to do is get peekshooting down.

Excellent video. I have watched Cool Guy's and Fallout's on this topic and this one stands with them.

I recently traded in my PS5 and large TV for a top end gaming PC and monitor. The first two weeks using a mouse and keyboard took some adjustment, but now it’s a breeze.
I’ve been absolutely shocked at how easy it is to consistently hit headshots on PC. My headshot accuracy in Trials with snipers went from 71% on console to 88% on PC and from 62% to 77% with hand cannons!

I’ve really liked how little recoil there is on PC and you can accurately shoot weapons like sub machine guns.

Great video btw and I used your tips to configure my PC settings. All in all though, PC feels like easy/cheat mode compared to console and I’m loving it 🙂

Apathetic, just wanted to say thanks man for sharing your knowledge and giving guys like me (who suck) a much better experience. I’ve been following you for a couple years, and have been playing since original Destiny days, but I’ve had to come and go over the years and I must say watching your videos and taking in your advice and insights has truly made me a better player. Thank you so much man. I play Xbox so don’t think we’d ever be able to link up but that would be like meeting a g.o.a.t. celebrity in game lol. Peace bro.

Thank you sm for this video!just started but already really helpful! I am a LONNNG time destiny player but switched to pc a while ago but havent beed as good in pvp mainly because of my aim. Destiny aiming and gunplay feel sooo diffrent from other shooters which i mostly do good in.
I hope to improve with your tips :)
Edit : so at the end you said being under pressure is bad, and everytime i play d2 while Stoned i feel like i hit way more often cuz i'm just relaxed...kinda wanna record some normal gameplay and then stoned to make out the diffrence. It feels like i hit over 50% more shots which would make sense if i'm relaxed
