I've watched videos on Cubase walkthroughs, professional sessions, and people mocking up my fav artists' and composers' works.

I must say....

I absolutely love what I see. One thing I notice, save maybe one thing or two, is that a lot of people praise it for how customizable and personalized it allowed you to make it, but without sacrificing stability. I'd like to know if I can apply things like skins.

A bit of a learning curve at first but seems endlessly useful. I use to use sonar years ago. Seems maybe easier though. Back to audacity I guess.

saher, what can i say. because of you i heard about the 50 % off sale. i am coming from a lengthy time with LIVE 9. before that REASON. i always considered cubase to be "magix music maker" stuff. little did i know. after i realized, that ELEMENTS is enough for a guy with a electric guitar, a masterkeyboard and a PC, i invested the 50 bucks.
thank you so much. its what i looked for. and it (you?) saved me a lot of money, because i was looking for a certain "shitty" MIDI sound in samples, that cubase offers. (by that, i mean you know, old timey yamaha keyboard sounds, i dont mean to demean cubase.) i mean, offers TOO. besides the vast possibilities in sound overall, besides the literally plug and play GUI experience, the so wellwoven so well thought out overall "organism" of cubase. no more fiddling around to get that drum track right. pick a drum kit in cubase and it SOUNDS the way i want it.

The best feature ever in Cubase was the Interactive Phrase Synthesizer (IPS) on the Atari ST. I used to spend days in there.

If you ask for people to write a reason, try not to make it useless by drawing from a hat or something else... I enjoy your videos, but this time you kinda miss... keep doing tutorials though, and don't mind stupid people like me that pick on every single detail (:
