Some fantastic new features! But please, please....why still the massive file sizes when bouncing video and no option to reduce. Media composers have a million clips flying around for feedback, i always have to reduce the size in another program, as they far too big to deal with at speed. Would LOVE this feature.

Love the UI updates, really dig the new look, some nice new features in there. Lot's of work still left to iron out some rough edges, I might upgrade sooner rather than later.

Amazing. Does anyone know if Steinberg fixed Automatic Quantize which only quantize 100% (very few instruments should ever be quantized at 100%). The logical thing would be to link AQ to soft quantize as well. I am aware of all the other options: midi insert percentage quantize, logical editor note position and quantizing with soft quantize after recording. All of these have its place, but AQ linked to Soft Quantize would be the quickest workflow option in my opinion. Always moving forward with less distractions.

Wow ok demo installed so I HAVE to upgrade from Halion 6 too. This is not a cheap upgrade. I've never used them in the past but the only thing I saw vaguely interesting were the chord pads update. I can see why they're having to push people to update.

I've been a cubase user for 24 years or more and I must say I still love working in it but I have a feeling I'm about to have a little look about and reload Cubase 12 so Halion 6 is back working!

So there are some few nice improvements in workflow and bunch of plugins which we all have already covered probably in much better quality by 3rd party plugins... It should not be a major version upgrade from my opinion.

The feature updates are very nice. HUGE Cubase fan, but one thing that would REALLY help my workflow would be if we could route Instrument channels to another instrument channel's (multi-channel) instrument.

Example: if I could load VEP7 on one Instrument track, and inside VEP7 load up a bunch of things, then route a second instrument track to that VEP7 instance (and have the output of the VEP7 channel routed back into the instrument channel it came from) - I'd be in heaven. (Could either be done through Track or Rack, it doesn't matter to me.) This would make it so I wouldn't have so many duplicate tracks (i.e. one MIDI and one - what would you call it? - audio output). In a large template, it's annoying to have so many duplicates instead of being able to do the MIDI stuff and the audio automation on the same track.

IMO, this is the biggest thing missing in Cubase.

Wow nice. I never upgraded my cubase 10, so, how it works? Have to install all the plugins and put them in the right folder? (If im not wrong btw, the Steinberg plugin folder is a share folder with all the versions? Do I have to uninstall my cubase 10 for instal 13? Greetings

Take it or leave it. When it comes to midi recording and editing, nothing can beat Cubase. However I'm still looking for something like Stack Folder in Logic.
