Everyone wanted this Cubase feature! And it's HERE!

The latest maintenance Cubase 12 update secretly brought a new feature that many were asking for!

I came across this the other day and was so happy. Been requesting this for a while. I have already setup keyboard shortcuts on my controller. That's one thing I love about Steinberg...they take suggestions from their clients and make it happen.

Its a step in the right direction, although still not as flexible as Studio One. In S1 it renders an audio file, and at the same time it gives you access to the midi file which you can drag off to use in other tracks. Also, we need a meter to see which tracks are hogging all the CPU so we know what to freeze! Still, a nice update.

This is great! What I don't get is: The loading bar when freezin looks like it's Cubase sx3. I would've spent an additional 10 minutes to take that into 2022 as well. Ofcourse not really important

Good for you guys! i did the upgrade from cubase 11 to 12 like 2 weeks ago since then i cant even use it! after struggling with techsupport and trying everything they just told me to maybe its time to replace my interface cable or switch to another, i just bought a brand new one and guess what! it didn't even open! and it's weird because with c 11 everything works perfect!
now i have 2 audio interfaces and a daw that does shit!

Could you now frezze over a bus? because sometimes I do some tratment more in te bus than in the track itself and I cant freeze the bus
