very helpful to me..
..am getting my 2nd FireStick delivered today for the Samsung living room tv..
my HBO Max (which I already pay for thru my cable) no longer has the "room" to fit the apps on the Samsung 65" tv (only 3 years old/tv's fault/I learned that in the past couple days)..
..a new Firestick (have one in the bedroom on a tv which is not an "app" tv, but now it is. grins) is a lot less expensive than a new Samsung tv..
as a virtual non-tech human (senior/retired teacher & forever grieving widow), it is my beloved husband who was the "tech" genius (computers et al)..
..now I figure things out with his "guidance" (in my every breath.) and great help from people such as you, Juan..
so appreciatethis.
..am down to only 1 HDMI port left on the back of the tv, but from videos like yours I learned that the HDMI arc one will work with the new FireStick for the living room..

I have a Fire TV Recast DVR.. but I'd like to watch it on another (smart) TV in the house. Is the FireStick the *ONLY* way to do this, or is there an app and/or other HDMI sticks that will work (Chromecast with Google TV, Microsoft 4K Wireless Display Adapter, TiVo Stream 4K, Xiaomi Mi Paipai Wireless TV Stick, etc)?

I'm only thinking on getting a fire stick just because my parents are cancelling the other sky box which is the one I use just to save money and my xbox can be a bit slow so yeah this would be good as we have Netflix Disney plus and prime

This does have Apple TV + right? I have pretty much all U.K. streaming platforms. Netflix, Disney +, Prime and Apple TV +. So I bought this recently and it’s coming today! So this is perfect for me!

I bought the second gen lite I think, last year but recently it's been laggy and the hdmi broke about 3-4 months ago but with a little wiggle it turns on so i have been just going with it but Christmas just happened and i have money so I'm getting a new one this one actually

I was wondering if maybe you know the answer, I just purchased the Amazon Fire Stick 3rd GEN that I connected to a regular tv in the HDMI 1; that tv is connected to an OTA digital antenna but I cannot watch those antenna channels within the Fire Stick, I have to use my tv remote to switch inputs from HDMI 1 to Antenna and use the tv remote to view the channels, is there a way to solve that problem?
As a estrange note, I also purchased a smart LG Fire Tv that I connected to the OTA digital antenna as well, and in that one I am able to go to “Settings”, “Input” and select “Antenna”, it did scan for channels and now, when I press the TV CHANNELS button in that remote, it makes available the antenna channels plus others from Tubi, Pluto, etc. Do you think that the 3rd GEN doesn’t offer that capability ???

My daughters stick just crashed again so figure I have to reset it up as I been doing but it isn’t responding to her remote an just keeps going through all the languages an when I go to press play for English it’s not responding…. Please help
