Classic shadow can happen it just can't be canon, cause shadow was never young. he was created, not born.

From what we know so far, Shadow’s story will basically be him going through his past (SA2 and his own 2005 game) while dealing with Black Doom who has returned. It’d be really interesting to at least have the option to play normal levels with him.

Shadow would be his own story mode. It would make sense to keep the main Sonic Generations as it is and Shadow can have his own story.

"Classic Shadow" doesn't exist. PERIOD. He was introduced in the Adventure Era, and is thus-- a Modern character. His appearence in the upcoming "Sonic X Shadow: Generations" will reflect this fact.

For real if Sega/Sonic Team plans to bring Shadow in Gens or not, I really don't care if they also bring in Classic Shadow since I gonna replay Modern Sonic/Shadow lvls anyways.

It is, they should be trying to iron things out not make them worse. Biolizard would be the "classic" iteration so ce he came first, and I'm sure as a test tube baby, Shadow probably went straight into the form we see him in in SA2.
