You should only shampoo twice if your hair doesn’t produce bubbles (suds) on the first shampoo. I have fine straight hair (very oily) and I don’t wash my hair for 3 days at a time. I do 2 shampoos; the first I wash out immediately. The 2nd I let it sit for a couple minutes. And than I condition ever other wash (only condition the ends (not the scalp) Finally finish with a leave in conditioner when you get out. The key is to buy high quality salon brands as well
