I'm a super lazy journaler and on the days when I don't feel like writing at all I draw a picture that shows how I felt that day. Like a small doodle that sums up whatever I was feeling. Doing that helped me build the habit of journaling!

lately i've been spirling into not doing anything. It really feels like I can't do anything but quick pleasure stuff (playing video games, youtube, Instagram), so it was actually difficult to click on ur video case I knew it would calm me down. It feels like my brain doesn't allow me to. After this video I have the intention to clean my room, journal, and go to sleep early even though it feels like my body won't allow it.. Weird feeling. Thank you for your video, it was really what I needed. I hope I can take it into action now... Lots of love <3

I find it so insane how a seemingly insignificant event in early childhood can have such an impact on a person for the rest of their life. It has made me reflect on my own triggers and how they’re connected to deep fears and trauma that arose during my childhood and formative years. I’ll definitely keep this in mind when I have my own children and be aware of how my actions may impact them into adulthood.

i've been journalling since i was a kid, my mom encouraged me to do so cos she also does it. i used to write every single day, but since i get a lot of days where not a lot is happening, i only now write when i want to ruminate on something, or some events have happened and wanted to give a life update. i don't really do prompts like in the video; i treat my journal like a secret best friend who i can just rant off too and won't judge me for my actions. i also use it to self-reflect, and it helped me realize a lot about myself. i also try to have fun with it by adding little drawings that reference my entries. it's fun to read my previous entries, since i'm essentially looking back on the memories i've made, mostly with my friends. it's like taking a little trip down memory lane.

needed this! Have been resisting my journal recently, but found that starting with some positive affirmations or thought exercises helps me get into the journaling mood bc I'm not expected to 'come up' with anything (just writing the same affirmation over again a couple times before I jump in makes the transition to deeper journaling easier). Really like your monthly moon idea, bc it gives some structure--my morning pages are more loosey-goosey, so getting some fresh ideas is motivating~

ALL MY LIFE, i have strUGGLED with journaling. For some reason i never keep up with it, or go back to it, then i lose track, get bored and quit. Journal or not, i’ve never been organized. This is a very interesting take on improving habits and lifestyle by journaling. Thank u bestie 🥺💗💗

I graduated in 2020 but we were sent home for an "extended spring break" before quarantine started, so I never got to say goodbye to my school or any of my friends. I was sort of just... unceremoniously dropped back home and soon realized I no longer HAD any friends who weren't literally hundreds or thousands of miles away. So at the start of 2021 I started journaling/asking that my life would be filled with strong female friendships in the coming months. I can happily say that as of today, I've made 3-4 really strong female friends in my area (which may not seem like a lot unless you're an extreme, hermit-like introvert like me) and have strengthened several of my long-distance female friendships. Call it an answer to prayer or manifesting or the law of attraction--either way, I find it pretty neato :)

In fact, I have a playlist that I call "comfort calm" more than anything, I add the videos that calm me down so I don't be shipwrecked on YouTube, and leah's videos are 60% of the total. Thanks for sharing ❤️

these are great!💗 in the evening i’ve started to write a letter to my morning self, so i can bring it with me around the next day. i usually write about things i’m proud of from that day, some affirmations and reminders. anything i think tomorrow’s version of me will read and have a better day. it works really well, so i wanted to recommend it<3

I loved this video! I love the art, colors, and writing mix of your journal, very inspiring 🌿One thing I can recommend as a “prompt” is: What three things can you do today that would make you happy, I do it almost every day and find it to be really helpful

just finished journaling using one of the prompts! and wow it was amazing. I definitely did not expect to write so many pages after not being able to write even a sentence. so it was quite liberating, I'm glad I came across this video. thank you.
