Is Soteriology101/Provisionism Written on SAND? Why Romans 2 MATTERS...

Leighton Flowers has been incredibly vocal about Calvinism. And rightly so: there are aspects to the systematic that are unbiblical: limited atonement for example, or the idea that regeneration precedes faith (my view is neither the Calvinist nor the Provisionist and not the Arminian view either, more on that later). But he seems unaware of the logical inconsistency in his premises concerning God's decrees, with fatal implications for Provisionism.

Jesus used logic abundantly in his exchanges with His opponents. And we should learn from Him. If a theological system is internally inconsistent, it cannot stand. And we should be skeptical of any system that claims to be exhaustive. God's plan for the world is surely more complex than a 5 point acronym, or even a 7 point one, would suggest...

What if the truth was neither Calvinism, nor Provisionism? What if nonetheless, both have something important to contribute? That's what we delve into in this episode. Besides God's decrees, we're looking at Romans 2, with deep implications for Leighton Flowers' anthropology and which also gets to the heart of the Reformers' (and James White's) understanding of justification and the law.

I pray the Spirit would guide you to all truth.

God knew, even before He created the universe and man, that man would fall. This was in our nature, it was how he created us. You could perhaps argue semantics here and say he decreed it due to creating us in a way so that we were allowed to sin and were in fact incapable of being sinless. He could have built us perfectly from the beginning, but he chose to allow us to be free creatures. Knowing that we would in fact sin, he had to design a way for us to be redeemed, and he did so through Christ's blood.

The Lamb is obviously not slain from the foundation of the world!
REV 13:8

All who dwell on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been slain.

You say that: “she wouldn’t learn obedience without being put in a situation in which she could disobey. And for that to happen, God had to decree sin.” This totally contradicts Heb. 5:8: “Son though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered”
‭The idea is that obedience can be learned also without sinning.

Regarding the “redemptive value”, it is a monstruos value: most of the people ever lived will perish!

Another faulty item presented is your first conclusion. The 2 premises do not lead to the 3rd.
God foreknew that if he will create the word, the man will sin. In the same time he planned the solution for sin: the sacrifice of His Son. This is meant by “slain from the foundation of the world”.

Then, the gentiles from Rom2:14 are Christians?! Do Christians, “by nature” do the things of the law?! I’m astound.
It is evident that these gentiles are not Christians!

Having watched all the other videos and appreciated them, l’m quite shocked about this video.
It seems to me that you want to impress by having a new perspective on quite obvious things.
