"this monster gaming pc costs $6000 dollars!" is there $2500 in cocaine sitting in the case? I know GPUs are overpriced these days but..

I switched to the 48" C1 2 months ago from a MSI Optix MAG274QRF-QD 27" 165Hz IPS gaming monitor.
I had used the MSI monitor since I jumped into PC gaming a year ago but I was never completely satisfied with the smaller screen.
I was used to console gaming on a 65" 4k HDR TV albeit only 60Hz.
Now my PC gaming experience is the same as console gaming but without having to choose between fidelity mode vs experience mode.
Having said that, I moved both my PS5 and Switch dock from the TV room to my desk so now all my gaming is in one location on an amazing TV/monitor.

5:46 - The LG C2 has VESA; 300 mm x 200 mm. The holes for mounting are in the B-roll you've shown.

The bracket for mounting would need to be purchased separately.

I switched from a dual monitor setup to a single 48" LG C1, but I really miss the ability to go fullscreen with some applications while still seeing others

is it comfortable to use at 4k for productivity or do you need to scale up to 125%/150% ?

For 21:9 check your available resolutions. There are more (and higher) wide resolutions that just 1080p Widescreen in the EDID. Just testet 1440p wide on my C2. Maybe this is only that low on 32:9, I have not tested this yet.

Hi Ben, awesome review! What is the width of your desk? And have you experienced any eye strain with the 42” monitor?

Make sure to set the resolution in Windows as well to match the TV OSD and then HDR and high FPS should be supported.

Everyone talks about how wonderful it is. But my question is, does it still burn like the previous version?

the 21:9 aspect ratio being 1080p is very disappointing.. might as well get the Samsung QD-OLED ultrawide monitor 1440p or the alienware version whenever that ships lol

No flickering on pc. Gsync with nvidia 3080ti r9 95x on a lg cx 65 inch. Best monitor ever made. Can never use anything else

On my CX I was able to turn off ASBL in the service menu. Is that option available with this model?

Great video. I just tried and returned the 48” C1 because it was so big and hard to adjust and honestly burned my eyes. The screen dimming also bothered me too. Went back to my normal 1440p monitor on a nice monitor arm and am happier with gaming / normal browsing. I think I’ll wait around for a 38” Ultrawide QDOLED to come out and go for 4K when monitor tech catches up to the new gpus

@Ben Rowlands
4:55 Did you try a new HDMI 2.1 cable that was not bend 1000 times and has triple shielding?
There are a lot cheap HDMI 2.1 cables out there that cause issues on high refresh rate.
