I see you've noticed that a lot of local modeling shops have closed over the past few years. On line shopping is to blame, and while low cost is a good reason to buy online, it hurts the local shops. It's really too bad, because sometimes you run out of something in the middle of a project so instead of driving (or walking in my case) to your local shop you order online and wait 2-5 days. I really miss my local hobby shop, it was nice talking to the owners and employees and meeting fellow hobbyists as well. We have some big craft stores here in America but their selection is a big ragged. Mostly artificial flowers and DIY kits that appeal to suburban mothers!

Hi Keith, good of you to educate newcomers to the hobby, whilst not an newcomer myself I find I can still learn from your excellent videos and I am sure there are many others like myself who would say the same. Sorry to mention the blooper, but I do that sort of thing as part of my work... at 3.26 you write about the superb pant you buy from HMG, oh dear, well it proves we are human.
