So my dad still lives at my childhood house and we've had a pomegranate tree in the front yard since I was a kid. Like 2 or 3 years ago it was struck by lightning and now it grows these HUGE pomegranates.

I usually throw the pomegranate on the ground to break it. Eat the pieces that fell out off of the ground and then just pick out the little ruby gems with my fingers.
