Just turned 40 a few days ago. I cannot believe how fast time flies. I think the thing that hits the hardest is that the older I get, the more I realize how precious time is. I’ve noticed that the worst thing is you just keep losing people that you love or that mean something to you. Guess it’s just the way of the world.

This was my Dad's favorite song from the first time he heard it back in 1974. It was like Jimmy wrote this song about my Dad. He came here from Ireland when he was 18 and was a singer, when he wasn't Ironworking in N.Y. Thank you for putting a smile on my face and in my heart today. He died 8 years ago and I would do anything to hear him sing this song just one more time.

190views from 100K...COME ON FOLKS! This is a wonderful cover of my lifelong musical hero. Jimmy was the soundtrack to my 80's and 90's upbringing. What a terrific rendition of one of the best songs. And to that point, Jimmy's best songs were never played in stadiums and his books were treasures unto themselves.

Kudos to the Killers.

I have been a parrot head for 30 plus years seen Buffett live at least 12 times, read his books etc, his lyrics are timeless thank you the killers for opening this song to an audience that never would of got the experience of his incredible words

This cover is absolutely transcendent 💫 I am a Florida native, grew up on the beach in a small fishing community, and Jimmy Buffett was a huge part of my childhood. This song has always held such a huge space in my heart, I cannot listen to it without thinking of my Papa and waking up with him at 4AM to look for sharks teeth. This was one of his favorites. Thank you guys, for sharing this with us and for the nostalgia ❤️

OH MY GOSH. JB got me through my undergrad, was the soundtrack for my engagement and honeymoon, were the lulluabys I sang to my kids, and is helping me through a really hard time in my life right now. I can't remember how much time passed between learning of his passing and hearing "Bubbled Up, " but both times, I was detailing a car. I remember sitting on a stool, cleaning the front left wheel of my wife's car, crying my eyes out. I turned back to his music just a few days ago, because I felt like at least the soundtrack of this experience doesn't have to suck, even if the rest of it does. Man, I miss him!
