Side Lying Hip Abduction
Lay on your side with your bottom knee bent and top knee straight. Extend your top leg so it is in a straight line with your trunk. From this position, squeeze your bottom and slowly lift your straight leg up toward the ceiling, hold as directed, then slowly lower leg back down.
Make sure to keep your knee facing forward throughout the movement, and don't let your hips rock backward as you lift.
