- [Narrator] Side lying hip abduction.
Begin by lying down on your side with your top leg straight and your bottom leg bent for support.
Lift your top leg up to eight inches off the ground and hold for five seconds.
One, two, three, four, five.
Slowly lower to start position.
Make sure to keep your legs straight and do not let your hips roll backward or forward during the exercise.
Do two sets of 10 repetitions on each side twice a day for five days a week.
