I was playing TF2 when i was 14, 08/09ish. I remember joining a clan of some older guys (20s maybe 30s) in Australia, and they were super kind and mentoring. They were protective of me to, getting on mic when some other unruly adults start saying things to me. I wish i still had the clan name, but thank you gentlemen for being the better part of my online gaming experience, and not have taken advantage of me. Just wanted to shout them out right quick.

some 12 year old was getting bullied on a server and I jumped in and told everyone off stating I was his brother and they're all fucked up, he ended up friending me and now its my sworn duty to be this kids "guardian angel" at all cost, regardless of what it may be. seeing this side of tf2 be more defined over the coming years has just solidified my idea that these kids need us to protect them, not be taken advantage of.
